Tinker Juarez, a Cannondale mountain bike legend, has faced many endurance challenges. He won several 24 hour races and, in June, he rode from San Diego to Atlantic City in a hell ride. This was his first attack on the Race Across America. His future holds the possibility of him following a pair toddlers around the house. Were having twins! Tinker made the announcement from his Winter Garden, Florida residence. Terri Slifko, his fiancée, said that they were thrilled.
The ultrasound confirmed that the couple will be having two children. Their due date is December 22. But Terri says the doctors have told her that twins often arrive earlier. Tinker said that Tinker and I have been really looking forward to having children. We didn’t know we would get our first child at the same time as our 2nd.
Terri says that the couple is currently looking for cribs and bassinets to go with their kidlets. We’ve discovered that Tinkers Volvo is not big enough to fit two child seats, two adults, and two bikes, as well as all the other stuff, so the mini van has been officially mentioned.
Children are not going to impact the endurance stars training program. Tinker will instead of climbing Radford carrying 18kg of rocks in a backpack with him, and will instead big ring Lake Apopka’s paths with a double trailer for his baby.
Terri and Tinker went on a Costa Rican sightseeing and biking trip in February.
